Sadly, everything comes with a price.
Been working as a temporary staff for about a month already and I have yet to see any inflow of cash. This sets me back to a negative bank balance considering that I do not receive any allowance during this period. Life is tough! I have already overspent:( The $300 won from the Gre-mazing Race that I participated at the start of my holidays had long gone. To top it off, I owe my mother $1200 and I see no way of returning it! OMG. Time to eat grass.
I need to earn more money to cover my expenses. The daily night outings are costly but I feel that it is an important chance to catch up with my friends whom I neglect during the school terms.
How to save money in Singapore?!! Let's count my minimum expenditure
Lunch at Jurong island is at least a $2.50. $2.50 x 22 weekdays = $55
MRT concession = $45
Bus fares = $10

$110 ?! Seriously? LOL. My spendings are far from this amount. See below:
Lunch at Jurong island $2.50 to $3.50 , $3 x 22 = $66
Dinner, at least $10, $10 x 22 (est) = $220
Transport = $45 + $10 = $55
Miscellaneous stuff (skincare products, hair cut, clothes) = $200

Approx. $540. Hmm... How come I managed to spend so much above this amount. I blame it on uncontrolled spendings. OMG. I need to cut down on my spendings! Eat less, buy less!
