Do it My Way: Organic Mint Tea Recipe

Like I have talked about in my last update on my plants' progress, I wanted to do something with the mint leaves that I can harvest!

Here is a Step-by-Step Picture guide to my Organic Mint Tea drink! It taste absolutely the same as those that come in tea bags but of course, it is caffeine and insecticide free! By growing one pot like that, you would have an endless supply of Mint leaves for cooking, drinking etc. What an economical way to attain life's simple pleasures right? It is really not difficult!

Things you need

  • A Handful of Fresh Mint Leaves (I grow them!)
  • 2-3 Cups of Water
  • 1 Fork
  • 1 Pot
  • Honey (optional)
  • Sugar (optional)

Rinsed the leaves with water and slightly smash the leaves.
You can  use  the back of a fork to bruise the leaves or a mortar and pestle.

Next, boil some water ( 3-4 cups of water).
After the water has boiled, turn off the heater or kill the flames,
then add in the leaves and let it simmer for 3-5minutes
